Pete Murray
Get ready for a whole load of Australians. Pete Murray is a brilliant Australian artist who is absolutely massive down under but for some reason hasnt made much of a mark yet in the States. If you are even remotely interested in Jack or any music similar to him, Pete is the Jack Johnson of Australia and has been deemed that by numerous reviews. Beautiful tunes, honest lyrics, and a gorgeous voice, its unusual to have a freshman release be as engaging as Feeler is. Already creating a fever in Europe and a household name throughout Australia, Pete should be making it to the States very soon. Check him out here now so you can prep yourself. Enjoy. www.petemurray.com |

Christopher Jak
Christopher Jak is an East Coast-bred, Colorado-infused former choir boy who lost his urge to sing for some years until he arrived in Colorado just a few years ago, finding his reason to sing again from the humbling town near Boulder. Surrounded by musicians like himself, Chris's introspective songwriting began again, better than ever before and far from the sounds of your typical choir boy. Applause of the Rain, released in 2003, along with new songs in the making, show the promisings of Chris and his career. Check him out here: www.christopherjak.com

Pseudopod
"One of the most talented bands to come out of Los Angeles in the last decade, Pseudopod is an exciting group of young musicians who successfully blend mainstream rock with other, more improvisatory styles of music like jazz and funk. Pseudopod draws on the many musical interests of its five members to produce tunes that are, in a word, original. The diverse streams of influence that converge as Pseudopod originate in the rock, jazz, and funk styles of such artists as Ben Harper, Medeski, Martin, and Wood, John Coltrane, Dave Matthews, and Eric Clapton. Antje DePonte, in a review for the West Coast Weekly, reflected, 'it's amazing how a certain sound can grip you suddenly and quite unexpectedly, and in the process blow all your pre-conceived notions right out the window as was the case when the first catchy guitar riffs poured through the speaker.'" Bob Schneider
"How do you package a tale that bounces between Germany and Texas, and between opera, art school and sleazy rock clubs? How do you convey the roots of a genuine Austin phenomena; how he's led three of the town's most popular bands and played to sold-out crowds as many as four times a week for nearly a decade? How do you explain him selling more than 15,000 self-released CD's at just one Austin record store? How do you explain why one of the country's most influential radio stations has had an unsigned artist on its playlist for over a year? And most importantly, how do you explain to people that it's really a simple formula; remarkable charisma and extraordinary songs add up to someone you can't help but rally behind?"...that's Bob Schneider.
