Pepper - GO HERE!
Straight from Kailua-Kona, Hawaii...Pepper is a reggae-ska-dub rock band about to blow up. Check 'em out now or you're gonna wish you had when all your friends start telling you about them and you knew you heard of em here first.
Bargain Music
Another sick band, comin' straight from SoCal.
Slightly Stoopid
Yet another... Pseudopod Possibly one of the greatest underground bands. I have only heard a select number of songs from these guys, but I like what I hear. Norah Jones Young female vocalist with the voice of a blues-legend. Check her. Martin Sexton A musical genius that needs to spread his love all over the country. Alana Davis An absolutely amazing voice. The kind of music you just can't get enough of. Left Hand Smoke This young aspiring Seattle-based quintuplet has the blues-rock sound only the greats have achieved. Check 'em. Dispatch CRAZY good band...more mellow like Jack. Definitely worth checking out if you dont know them already. You'll be highly impressed. Howie Day I hit myself for not putting Howie on this list earlier. If you're a Jack or John Mayer fan, there's a promising chance you'll become a fan of Howie as well. John Butler Trio John Butler, eco-warrior/musician, born in San Diego, and moved to Australia as a youngster is a hippie-idealistic who made his musical name. Check him. Powderfinger Can't get enough Aussie talent? Check these guys out. Donavon Frankenreiter Beautiful soft soul. The Beautiful Girls More Aussie talent, probably the best in the list. Ben Harper meets surf-folk-rock. Carus Aussies are all over the list. Here's another one you musn't miss. State Radio New band started by Chad of Dispatch. More reggae-rock than Dispatch, definitely dont expect the same mellowness of Dispatch. Politically and morally charged, it's worth all the listening ears you give it. SlackString An new band worth checking out. Similar sounds with a little different funk to it.
